Phosphinotricin - Duchefa

DL-Phosphinothricin (PPT) is an analogue of glutamate and acts as a competitive inhibi-tor of glutamine synthetase. This enzyme is involved in assimilation of ammonia and plays a key role in nitrogen assimilation.
