The 'Cross Flow Ecoplant' laminar air flow unit is an innovative solution developed specifically for applications in plant laboratories. Born from an intensive collaboration between Dutch market leaders Interflow and Lab Associates, this unit combines premium contamination control technology with practical cost efficiency, without unnecessary complexity.

By delivering a continuous, low-turbulence horizontal laminar airflow, the Ecoplant effectively eliminates airborne particles directly at the bench, providing a low-germ and low-dust working environment that protects your valuable plant tissue cultures and processes. 


Energy efficiency & aerodynamics

  • Up to 70% energy savings: Uses efficient EC fans and LED lighting to lower electricity consumption.
  • Reduced turbulence: Designed to minimize the overall resistance of the internal airflow, ensuring maximum efficiency of the required energy. 

Safe and clean

  • Dual-stage filtration: Combines a G4 pre-filter for coarse dust with a high-end H14 HEPA filter to catch microscopic airborne particles.
  • Fail-safe pressure design: Employs advanced pressure differentials to guarantee that the workspace remains sterile even during an unexpected filter malfunction.
  • Maximum leak-tightness: Built with a fully hermetic seal to completely block outside contaminants from penetrating the inoculation area.

  • Intuitive day/night controls: Features a modern touchscreen panel designed to easily toggle airflow and light settings depending on laboratory shifts.

  • Optional extras: Customize your unit with a visual malfunction alarm (LED turns red), built-in glass bead steriliser, or custom dimensions.
